About Laura

Laura Kasperzak began her yoga journey almost 20 years ago as an addition to her existing workout routine. Over the past 5 years, her interest in yoga has steadily grown, and it is now a daily practice. With a background in gymnastics and cheerleading, yoga wasn't a huge step into the unknown for her. Involving her family has become a main focus in her yoga practice. She loves to connect with her husband through ACROVINYASA and she loves to teach her kids new poses.

She was inspired to teach yoga to get out of the humdrum of office life. Sitting at a desk all day is not what she was born to do.  As fate would have it, she met her teacher and mentor, Victoria Arvizu in 2012 and graduated from the Yoga in the World 200hr YTT program in 2013.

She loves to be upside down whether it is on her hands, arms or head… So expect them in class! Her playful nature and fun personality shines through during her classes where laughter is not only expected but it’s a must. The challenge that Laura’s classes offer not only builds confidence and strength, but allows the students to have fun learning as well. Be prepared to work, sweat, play, laugh and have fun on your mat!

In late 2013, Laura became an ambassador for Bliss Paddle Yoga and completed her Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) training in June of 2014.

In March 2015, Laura and her husband, Edward, completed their Level 1 ACROVINYASA certification  with YogaBeyond.  ACROVINYASA takes yoga from earth to air.

In July 2017, Laura became an official VIP Ambassador for Alo Yoga.

Laura's mission is to provide an amazing yoga experience in an atmosphere that is fun and playful, yet challenging. She takes her yoga seriously, but herself lightly. After all, laughter is one of the best remedies.
